The UMONS and the UNamur, partners in this project, are proud to welcome 15 new researchers in this framework. A rigorous selection process, conducted by external international expert juries, resulted in the selection of research projects in fields as varied as mathematical or theoretical physics, antibiotic resistance, microbiology, pedagogy, robotics, geology, colonialism, ancient and medieval history, ecology, ...

These post-doctoral fellows will carry out a 2-year research project. The programme also includes research training and career development. Each of them will be seconded to another sector (company, research centre, etc.) in Belgium or abroad.

What are the objectives? To broaden their career path, enrich their research results and gain international exposure. These post-doctoral fellows will also have the opportunity to establish new collaborations and to train young researchers.

For the two partner universities, the objective is clear: to reinforce their attractiveness to brilliant researchers in international mobility, to increase their visibility and to stimulate a multiplier effect with other funds.

This project has received funding from the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under Marie Skłodowska-Curie grant agreement no. 101034383.
