Inauguration centre de prise en charge des violences sexuelles

Located close to the hospital, the CVPS is the 9th center to open in Belgium. It offers a reassuring welcome to all victims of sexual violence, regardless of gender, age, sexual orientation or administrative status. The center offers free medical, forensic and psychological services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, as well as the possibility of lodging a complaint via specially trained inspectors. Victims are cared for by a multidisciplinary team comprising infectiologists, psychologists and nurses...

Its creation is the result of collaboration between the CHRSM, the 13 police zones of the Namur judicial district and the Namur public prosecutor's office, with the support of the Institut pour l'égalité des femmes et des hommes. Like UNamur, SOS Enfants and Maisons de Justice are also partners of the CPVS.
